Hans-Jürgen Skandella

Hans is both a visionary and a doer: he develops ideas and puts them into action with determination. As the core and foundation of our architecture firm, he motivates with his charismatic nature and impressive persuasive power. He professionally combines his high aesthetic demands with the economic aspects of projects to create successful outcomes for our clients. We primarily see ourselves as service providers for our customers, and Hans actively integrates this philosophy throughout the office.
Hans initially studied interior architecture in Mainz, where he was awarded the prestigious Gutenberg Scholarship. He then pursued an architecture degree in Cologne, as he had decided early on to work holistically. Before founding his own firm, SAI, he gained valuable experience as a project manager in internationally active architecture firms in Cologne and Wiesbaden.

Rita Skandella

As a Master of Arts graduate from RWTH Aachen, Rita leads the creative processes in our office as Chief Interior Designer. At the heart of our architectural world, Rita creates a connection between creativity and organization. Additionally, as Chief Organizer, she structures our office and develops the creative concepts for our projects. With her skills, she enriches the team and ensures that our visions and ideas are presented appealingly and brought to life.

Nora is known for her quick and reliable work approach. With her keen eye for the essentials, she promptly identifies the crucial aspects of new challenges and develops effective solutions. She proactively tackles challenges and consistently achieves the best results for our projects.
Nora has been enriches our team as a true “all-rounder.” Her solid education at FH Trier and FH Köln, along with her valuable experience in architectural firms in Düsseldorf and Potsdam, where she was responsible for phases 1-8 of new construction and renovation projects, make her a highly esteemed expert in our office.

With her technical know-how and focused approach, she consistently and diligently brings projects to a successful conclusion – as a true ‚Cologne Girl‘ and carnival fan, of course, always with a touch of humor.
Since 2021, Rosa has been working with us as a project manager. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at FH Cologne, she initially gained extensive experience in phases 1-8 at various architectural firms. Subsequently, she obtained her Master of Arts with a focus on project management and real estate economics at TH Cologne, which impressively underlines her profound expertise and knowledge.

Alexander Sawazki

After successfully completing his architecture studies at the University of Siegen, Alexander gained valuable experience in various architecture offices around the globe, working in the fields of interior design and architecture. His projects encompassed office buildings, kindergartens, residential buildings, and villas, where he was involved in phases 1-8 of the projects. Alexander is a valuable addition to our team at Skandella Architecture and Interior Design, where he specializes in villa and residential construction.

In addition to her impressive project work at our architecture firm, she adds a unique touch to our external presentation with her innovative ideas and creativity. Her mindset of continuous learning and improvement is passionately and devotedly implemented in our office.
Sara has been a valuable addition to our team, bringing her enthusiasm and dedication to every task. Prior to joining us, Sara was responsible for phases 1-5 in various architecture firms in Egypt and Germany after obtaining her B.Sc. in Architecture and Environmental Design from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Egypt. Her areas of expertise included new construction, renovation, the implementation of corporate identity in the automotive industry and residential construction.
